Copy the token address and paste it in the Token field.
Copy the DEDE amount for this tier (1,000,000 for Hatchling) and paste it in the Amount field. More is fine. Your tier is the highest floor you clear.

Select the date 180 days from today. Nothing releases before this date. This is the lock.
Leave it at zero. Anything here is released the moment the cliff hits.
Vesting Duration and Unlock Frequency are optional extras, and our recommendation: set Vesting Duration to 14 and Unlock Frequency to 1, both in Days. Your tokens then release gradually over two weeks at the end instead of hitting the market in one block. Prefer everything at once? Set Vesting Duration to 1 Day and Unlock Frequency to every 1 Day.

Go to lock.jup.ag/create and connect the wallet holding your DEDE.

Fill the form with the values from the tier calculator above, field by field, in that order. Check the token address character-for-character.

Set Who can cancel the contract and Who can change the recipient to None. This is the whole point: a lock that someone can cancel is not a lock. Every Roost lock is non-cancelable.
- 04
Review and sign. Nothing releases until your cliff date, and no one, not you and not us, can undo it. Minimum term for the Roost is 30 days.

Done. Your lock appears on the community roll automatically once it's confirmed on-chain, and your founding status backdates to the day you locked. See what locking gets you →
